Looking for a Camera

I am looking to get a camera to start taking pictures of my tank my iPhone isn't cutting it anymore lol. I have a budget about 1.2k. What cameras do people suggest?

I bought a GoPro and started taking videos of my tank from within. It's fun to look at the fish picking at it.

Canon 70d with the 18-135 kit lens.

I love using the GoPro.....took some shots inside my sump. Cool stuff. I also put it in a 5 gallon bucket I was using to acclimate some Anthias.

I just picked up a Canon 5D Mark iii. It is pricey but it takes awesome photos and videos.
