Looking for a small starter setup

I've been thinking about a small breeder or cube, but I thought I'd see if anyone had anything they were looking to part with. I'm targeting sub $350.

Just grab a tank, stand and HoB skimmer to start with? You can run that without a sump right?

I am about to break down my Coralife Biocube 29gal here in about a month if you are interested. Tank and stand is $350. Upgraded filter system and UV light. I also have an AI Prime with arm that I will add for another $150.

sorry for the late reply, but yes that would have been fine to start with (a lot of nano keepers do.) i dont remember how much i spent exactly on mine, but i picked up a 40BR,20 long for around $100 out of the door. spent another $30 or so for plumbing and drilled everything myself. granted, i had equipment from my old setup, but i think for ~$200, you should be able to grab your necessities like a return pump, power heads, skimmer, and lights (i decided to go with a $100"chinese" LED from amazon, and it is working out great!)

BBoley24 has a connection on a great deal for a 29 gallon biocube/ stand.
