What is this fuzzy, stringy
kinda of clear stuff
on torch. I gently brushed it away with soft toothbrush a few days ago but it looks like it's coming back.

Thank you in advance!

tank is 1 1/2 years old. Torch has been in there long time and everything seems
in fine shape.
Good Polyp extensions and growth. This concerns me.

Okay so nothing you brought over. Take a craft paintbrush and dip it in hydrogen peroxide and apply it to the skeleton being careful not to touch the flesh. Then dip in freshwater. See if that resolves the growth.

Bonnie,
Thank you
for the advice! I will do that! So is the consensus an algae?

I can’t say 100% as it’s difficult to see it’s so pale but HP should definitely get rid of whatever it is and leave you with a clean skeleton.
