I currently have a kessil 360 over my IM40 and moved a couple things around. My zoos at the bottom of the tank are stretching. I was looking into getting a 24 in hybrid 4 bulb setup to add to the mix. I want to get some sps down the line.

Question is, when I add the hybrid, bulbs and mounts to cart, it comes to around $620 for all. Makes me kinda just want to see if there are better options out there?

Especially if I want some SPS down the road. I would rather just have 1 unit to mess with than to have to adjust the Kessil and the T5. Still feel a little new here and keeping upgrading the tank in mind too. What would you guys do?

LED+T5 hybrid is the way to go from what I have read. That said, I prefer a single lighting setup myself.

I have the IM 40 aio as well and have the Radion XR30 with the diffuser. In my opinion this is as close an LED can get to T5 .

I think this is the best way to go. My only reservation is, I have the APS aluminum stand and I am super hesitant to drill holes in it for the mounts and mounting them from the ceiling isn’t something I could consider.

Do you have some pics? What’s your lighting schedule?
