Hey there,

First off, yes the P4 can cover all 4 points in your first post. :)

Return pump
You can set this pump to turn off by going to the MAINTENANCE settings page and selecting the Socket # that has this pump connected to it. The maintenance mode feature will let you specify how long this mode should remain active before reverting back to normal operating behavior.

Return pump: Control
Since this pump is 1-10V compatible (Varios), you can have the P4 control it. You will need our 1-10V breakout box accessory to do this.

As far as setup goes, you will need to connect one-end of the Varios control cable to the pump control box and cut the other-end of the cable. Cutting the end of the cable should then expose two wires which are then connected to the 1-10V breakout box above. The included cable is then connected to the breakout box and to the P4's YELLOW L-channel port.

This video explains how to wire it up:

Skimmer locker
You have two options here:
  • Modify the float switch connector and connect it to our PLM-ADIN expansion card
  • Sell this shut off accessory and purchase a dedicated GHL Float switch for a direct connection; no cable cutting needed here.
Automatic skimmer neck cleaner: Control
You can control this by connecting it to an available powerbar socket.
  • This socket can then be assigned to an available TIMER function
  • Select an unused TIMER function and specify the days, times, and duration to ACTIVATE this timer.

Send me an email. I have something that may be useful to you.
