This is a picture from 18 months ago of a ‘dragons egg millepora’ I’ve place it in high light and flow.. but I have a hunch this is not acropora millepora. I believe it could be an acropora Spathulata.. this is a picture of the same frag from a few days ago, then a picture of a true acropora millepora from the same day

Parameters:
mag- 1400
Alk- 8.7-9.3
Cal- 430
Phos- 0.05
Nitrates have remained undetectable for months
temp 78-79 (a heater did try to fry my tank in January it got to 92 and I somehow only lost a couple of brag new frags that weren’t fully established in the tank)

I’m happy to hear others thoughts on this!

Looks like a Spath to me, before reading your comment that’s what I thought it was.

I may take her to the theoretical chop shop and stick whatever I can salvage in a higher light/flow area see if I’m able to bring some color back out one day

Yea from what I understand spaths are fairly difficult as they are found in shallow reefs where parts are exposed at low tide with consistently high flow and very intense par. Reef builders had a pretty article on them awhile back. I think you’re on right track with more light and flow. Looks like it will be a nice stick.
