I have been looking into getting a court jester goby (rainfordi goby) for a few days now and would be happy to hear from other reefers who have kept one. I am mostly curious about what feeding methods seem to work well with this species, since I have heard that they can be picky eaters. I would also like to hear any other interesting things to know about this awesome looking fish.

it will graze a lot in the tank so a lot of the time if you don't see it eating it is still getting some calories but generally they will take to frozen in a couple weeks, you just need to give it properly sized food as some brands mysis shrimp is just too large for the fish

We currently are feeding our fish and lps marine cuisine, do you think one would eat the little bits from that?

I had a rainfords in a 28g biocibe for a couple years as the only fish and never fed the tank. Literally never fed it, and only did a small water change about 3x a year.
he lived on eating algae in the tank and him being there made more algae.
