Lost the plastic tip for the calcium syringe

I have a Salifer Ca test but lost the tip. Dont wanna spend another $30 for a new kit. What now?

I think you can use the syringe only as long as You have the proper amount in it.

I went to an LFS which tests customer water and asked for one. They had a bunch extra and were happy to give me one.

My reagent is 99%full. How can it be accurate withiout the tip ? and whats he proper amount ?
