last year my 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian cancer. She had a Cantelope size tumor that had Ruptured that was full of cancer cells. She was rushed to primary children's hospital where they took the tumor out and spent a week in recovery. That’s when they told a us stage 3. She did 4 rounds of chemo for 5 days each with 1 day recover. So 6 days each Session.

One round was during her birthday. Between a round of treatment we all got COVID which was the scariest time during the 6 months of battle. She had to get a blood transfusion. April 2022 we did a whole lot of post test and she kicks cancers butt.

There is no new cells or no new growths. So with all that going on we had to stop life as we knew it and start selling stuff to cover gas, hotels, bills, time off work, food and of course what ever my little girl wanted. (Lots of stuffed animals) so we sold our 75 reef, 60 Gal predator and put my 60 cube on hold.

Now being in a Better HEALTHIER place we have started slowing building back up our passion for reefing. we was able to get my 60 cube back up to we’re it needs to be. Started to build my wife a little 10 AIO. Then she found a tank Identical to the one I had as a kid. A 30 gallon with canopy. So now we’re selling the 10 and just started build her 30.

We are very thankful our daughter is still with us and kicked cancers butt. I am thankful to have such a supportive wife that we were able to carry each other through a parents worst nightmare. And I’m thankful to everyone that helped me and my family.

my daughter told me today she wants a betta tank. See if I can talk her into a marine betta tank.

1st pic is the 10AIO we’re selling. 2 and 3 is the new 30 gal that is Identical to what I had as a kid it’s the wife’s build. 4th is my 60 gal cube.

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience. I can’t imagine the physical and emotional toll this experienced has taken for you and your family. I hope your daughter is on a path to full recovery!!

If you get into SPS corals, I’d be happy to share some frags if there’s something I have you would be interested in (no charge of course)

That’s very kind of you. My daughter is doing a lot better compared to this time last year. We still have to go in every 3 months to do blood work and scans for 1 year then it gets pushed to every 6 months.
We have another vipraspectra on its way. To help with the even spread of light. When we get ready for sps I’m gunna let my daughter pick it out. Thank you for such a generous offer. Its people like you that Allow us to take care of the kids and still enjoy this hobby.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, but so glad to hear she's kicking cancer. It sounds like you have a really strong family! The big rock in your wife's tank is very unique. Looking forward to watching the progress.
