My build finally starts! The tank is a 32 gallon bio-cube that my husband @DSC reef found for a great price (free):p After cleaning it up a bit and leak testing, the tank is in great shape. Please bare with me as this will be a slow build and will be a while before it's wet. I'm going with Tampa Bay live rock and reef flakes for sand. After seeing so many cool hitchhikers from members threads, tampa bay live rock is all I want to use. We plan on keeping some coral, a pair of storm clownfish and maybe an anemone. As with all builds, live stock choices might change, lol.
So far here is what I've got...
Biocube 32
Kessil A360WE with mounting arm that we just bought. Still need to get a powerhead for additional flow. We will be using the stock return pump for now. I will post more as the build progresses. @KJ if we end up with a bobbit worm I'll send it you;)

I can hardly wait to see what you do with this!
Thanks Katrina. We kept looking at the tank sitting in the garage for weeks. It was time we cleaned it up and do something since we both have been itching to start up a tank:)

We go back and forth ;Hilariouslol. We want to try the reef flakes In the bio cube to see if we really want to do sand in the 750xxl.

LOL, I did the reverse. I set up a small freshwater Betta tank with Starboard to see if we would like that. We loved it, obviously. Your previous tank was a real inspiration as well.

Aww, thank you. Yea we loved bare bottom with the 75. I just really want to get another wrasse. That's really the only reason we would go with sand lol.

As much as I love the look of sand and my wrasses, I’m not sure if I’ll do it on my next tank, it just becomes such a chore after awhile, especially in a larger tank.

I’m sure you could find a creative way to hide a small dish of sand in the 750, or you could just stick with fairies.

I get that. It is a great reason. When the Betta passes (it is near, he is old) I may set it up as my first ever tank with sand. Thinking gobies / shrimp pair just because I have never owned them and the kids would love it.

Yea we are afraid of the work it's going to become, like it was in the 75. We talked about hiding a bowl in there lol. Leopards are my favorite and my husbands is a mystery wrasse.
