So I am running a my dual stage reactor with an internal ph of 6.3 and dosing 90ml per min. My tank is dropping to 7.6 at night. I would like to get that number up to at least 7.8 at night. Co2 scrubber had minimal impact. Is there anyway to bump this up without dosing 2 part or Kalk?

6.3 is real low melting point, what media are you running it both stages?

I am using ARM and it stinks. Used to use reborn but obviously had to switch.

Yeah,
It's a shame, got about one year left of reborn.

I might try Tunze

Beyond frustrated lol. I think I am just going to use a low saturation of kalk on my dos pump or maybe set it to the ph controller to turn on if the PH drops below 7.75 or something.

Yeah,
I may go back to Balling, if something does not happen with finding another high melting point media.

i use kalk and carx together to offset the low ph. then i can dial down the ml rate on the carx.

The problem I have is I really dont want to get alk swings if I am to late on the top off with the kalk.. I really just want to use the minimum amount to bump ph with having little impact on cal/alk.

before i restarted the tank it was dosing kalk through my top off. it was keeping my alk at 8.5 in conjuction with my carx running. I have a kh director and monitor it 8x a day.

i also have failsafe on the apex where if ph in tank is above 8.5 turn off co2 and ato. i have a seperate ato pump that pumps top off water in thats not kalk mixed if ph is above 8.5. so my ph in tank usually fluctuates 8.2-8.4 though out the day.
