You ever try adding some wooden air stones to your sump ?? You could also put one near the intake of your skimmer to help turbo charge it.

My low is 7.6 high 8.01 WITH scrubber and open doors :-(
My first question is then if your skimmer is big enough? If you will have maximal effect of the scrubber you must have a quite big skimmer, thus, a lot of air/h through the divesorb-bed. A small skimmer will not take out the advantage of the divesorb bed.

Where did you get your soda lime? I just ran through a cartridge of Two Little Fishies media in about eight days. I have some BRS media coming in soon, and hopefully it last longer (I turned down the air intake to the skimmer so hopefully that helps a little), but even if it lasts twice as long that'll still get expensive over time. Googling "soda lime" didn't bring up many options for me...

I got mine from Airgas. They are a welding supply company and they also have a medical division.

I went to my local Airgas retail welding store and inquired about it.

Anyone have the AirGas number to search? My local AirGas can order some with a part number but I've used everything I could find on the AirGas website to try and search it but I don't get anything to pop up.

Am I interpreting you correctly..? you seem to be suggesting that the airpump device is more effective than the skimmer scrubbing, or am I reading something into it that isnt there..? I may be doing that as I am sceptical about the aeration effect of skimmers.
