Low PH with Cupramine in QT

I can't find anything on the bottle but my Ph in my qt is at 7.8 and I have a Purple and Chevron tang dosed with Cupramine. Is is safe to raise it using Reef Buffer 8.3 when using copper?

I don't think the two would cause any chemical reaction. With that said, a sudden change of key water parameter could enhance the stress brought on by copper. Suggest to just aerate the water by a small air pump as that will gradually increase the ph.

I've never used a buffer with copper. I would suspect that you would have issues with the PH test kit in the presence of copper, however. They have PH badges that would do the same as an ammonia badge for you. I like the aeration idea above ^^^

And don't use air stone. Just tie the air tube manually and let larger bubbles do the work.

pH 7.8 is just fine.....don't do anything....except considering aerating.

Ok thanks everyone I will aerate and let it be. The fish are fine and eating anything I drop in the tank.
