I have jut finished cycling my tank and I have a few CUC in the tank including some snails and crabs. My pH was about 8.0 last week and now it's reading about 7.4. I am putting a refugium in a chamber in my fusion 40. Will this help stablize the pH? The 7.4 was mid day but that's still a big swing from 8.0

So many PH threads today.
Also another source of low ph is co2

Yes, it is always the cause of true low pH at normal alkalinity, but pH 7.4 is beyond what usually is attained. :)

If it is verified to be real, the solution is to reduce the CO2. :)
