Your mixed reef has turned out amazing! I love seeing shallow reefs. Aside from the nitrates, have you had to dose any calcium, magnesium, etc... or is water changes taking care of that?

On my jabeo doser I dose calcium, alkalinity, ME polyp extender, and nitrates. I use b-ionic 2-part. 15 ml of calcium per day and 18 mls of alkalinity.

I figured you were dosing but I must have missed that when going over the thread. Your pictures had me captivated. Lol

My lights are 12 inches off the waters surface. At peak day lights run at:

Channel 1: 30 %
Channel 2: 40 %
Channel 3: 85 %
Channel 4: 50 %
Channel 5: 75 %
Channel 6: 75 %

So from 1200 to 1600 that's what my lights run. I taper up and down the lighting in the morning/evening.
Thank you. That’s very helpful to me.

Bangai Cardinal doing it's thing. I have two of these guys, they are always hanging around my duncan coral, one of the lowest areas of flow in the tank. This is a spot where left over food liked to linger. The duncan and cardinals take advantage and always eat good.

Wild coral colony I found at the LFS. Not the prettiest piece in the tank, but I cool find for the price and decent a grower.

One of my favorite corals in the tank. This guy loves to eat. Hoping to get more kinds in the future.

And you can't go wrong with a montipora. I just wish I had more room to grow out a massive colony.
