Have lost a hammer and kryptonite coral to polyp bailout in the past 2-3 months. Now noticing my Duncan is starting to retract…

I pulled it to move to my hospital tank today and had a look at it and looks to have something growing on it (see yellow covering body in picture).

anyone seen this before? I have other corals in the main tank that are struggling as well but can’t find any parameters that seem off…

The one problem I do have is vermetid snails, and have been thinking that’s the problem, but when I noticed this on the Duncan wanted to see if anyone has seen this before.

appreciate any help!!

Hi - it’s stuck on. When I look closer, the part that is receding (exposing the skeleton) is where the polyps are closing up and dying…
