I mean when you’re right - you’re right.
would there be any major benefit to going with something like their Marine 110 which is less deep but a bit taller over something like their frag 125 which is a bit deeper but shorter? I like the idea of the frag dimensions. Sounds a bit easier to maintain.

It's all personal preference. I like wide better than tall because it gives more room for aquascaping and reduce the need to stack rocks on rocks on rocks. And yes, maintenance is much easier when you don't need a stool to do sandbed work

I've learned from the end of mine. Before it became too dirty for it, and loved the view. It's made to be seen from about 45 degrees cuz that's where the couch is.

Dream tank is big enough to not see the other end, it can be hidden behind a curve, but I want no end in sight.

Wider tends to be better than taller for swim space. Usually it's a little easier to aquascape a wider tank also.
