LTA questions

I picked up a lta from my lfs about 5 days ago and I'm having a hard time gigging him to attach to anything I red online to put him at the base of a rock in the sand and to build a semi circle around him with smaller rocks and he will stay there for a while but I always find h upside down in the corner of the tank because the current pushiest him around and I was looking for some ideas on how I can get him to attach so he can move to a spot he likes

Is there any damage to the bottom of the "foot" ? Even a pin hole size hole could be an issue.
What color is the anemone?

What lights do you have? (( what lights was it under ))
How deep is your sandbed?
Current parameters -- with numbers
How long has your tank been set up?
How much flow do you have?

The foot is fine nothing wrong there and it has green tenticals and my perms are ph 8.4, ammonia 0.5, nitrite 0, nitrate 80, calcium 380, phosphate 0-0.25, and kh 11 and im doing a 40% water change today to fix nitrate got a wicked nitrate spike in the last / days

What is your salinity/SG?
I would be more concerned about the ammonia than the nitrates -- that ammonia reading is not good for an anemone.

How long has your tank been set up?
How deep is your sandbed?
How much flow do you have?

My salinity is 1.024 a have a 2 inch sand bed and I whave high to moderate water flow

The tank has Ben up for 3 mon in the spot it's at now but I have hase it for 8

Your SG is a touch low, and the sandbed isn't deep enough for an M. doreensis -- but the biggest concern would still be the ammonia readings, need to get that down to 0 if this anemone is going to have a chance.
