A PAR meter is not cheap by any means. I read that you can use a LUX meter and divide it by 3.05. Does this actually work? My blasto is the main one who is picky about light so far.

Def not 3.05 and "does it work"....sort of.

You sort of need to guess at the conversion factor based on the light spectrum.

Divide lux by like 50 should work for bluer lights
