Lyretail Anthias with Eye Problem

I just got five female Lyretail Anthias (one male earlier) and noticed that one has an eye problem. Any ideas if this might be dangerous? As in infectious? Thanks!

Looks like a superficial eye injury but I also see evidence of nipping on the tail. For the eye, best treatment would be erythromyacin > Maracyn as pictured and for nipping, what other occupants are in the tank with it?

Please add a video under white light intensity so the rest of the fish can be viewed.

There are many other anthias as in my case and likely some chasing here and there.
Have you begun treatment with maracyn yet?

Had something similar happen to my foxface, got popeye waited to see if it got better on its own cause it's hard to get him out, ended up getting to him to late with the EM. Saved his life, lost the eye. But he's thriving now, would suggest get the fish in antibiotics asap.

No, hard to get here in Sydney. I would also have to set up a QT tank for that. working on it.

The anthias is still eating o.k., it *might* heal on its own, it doesn't look severely infected. The big issue is that however the injury happened, could happen again to the other eye and THEN the fish is going to have severe issues in finding food.

It can take a full month for these eye issues to heal.
