Got some new sand yesterday ...think it's time too start putting my sand bed back in

Looks good ! ! Zoas still closed but look better.

Took a sample of water too look under microscope...still see dinos but a lot less ...and start too see other things copepods and stuff ..tank looks almost clean from dinos ...but I do have bryopsis ..although even that is less now ....also got a small explosion of corralline algae growing now again at last .....I'm going too move the UV in the sump today as well

I was getting my sand ready too wash before putting it back in the tank ...I figured 2kg each week would be a good place too start ....
so I measured 2kg into a bucket ready too wash ....
Went too check on my rodi water and came back too find my cat taking a tick in my bucket with my sand in .. :mad::mad:
Luckily I still got 8kg left ....
Will try again tomorrow ......

First 2kg sand back in ....what a difference with how much light is bounced back ...
Dont really notice till you put it back ..but it's been so long since I had a white sand bed...5-6 months at least .

We have three cats and the two psychopath boxers. Two of our cats are black cats and rescues. Never understood why people are superstitious of black cats. Both are extremely loving and very good house cats.

I love boxers ....and yours look soooooo cute ....oh my cat is not all black ...she has a white chest and 4 white socks
