MACNA 2020 Hotel group cancelled?????

I just got a email saying my reservation for the MACNA 2020 stay at the Sheraton was cancelled. I phoned to inquire what was going on and was told the MACNA group/rate was cancelled. As far as I knew the show was supposed to go on. Also got no email from anyone from MACNA or on their site saying the dates were being changed or it was cancelled this year. Anyone know what's going on?

I called the convention center and they said the event is still scheduled.

We are saddened to announce that MACNA 2020 has been cancelled. All of us were looking forward to gathering in Phoenix to visit with our fishy friends, but in the current environment there is no way to do so safely. We will be outlining the process for exhibitors and attendees to transfer their deposits and tickets to MACNA 2021 shortly. Please stay tuned.
