I have always thought it would be a lot of fun to attend the MACNA conference but has always been far away. Well this year it will be in Atlanta sept 5-7 - I don't think it's going to get any closer! So I wanted to gauge interest, see if anyone else would like to go. I believe the tickets are cheaper if you buy them early.

You can buy a daily ticket or buy a weekend pass that does everything but the reception and banquet cheaper - It's $99 ans does not have any time restraints on the price. Just curious if I will be the only reef dork from the chatt reef club to go - or if I will have company!! :glasses7:

Sweet I thought you were trying to go. All the more reason for some of us to go - I am sure your booth will be very busy - you may need some help!! Are you gonna stay down there or are you driving back evry night? I am pretty sure I am going to buy a least the weekend pass - I don't know if I care that much for the banqut and or reception. Do you know much about those 2??

Dangit all! MACNA arranged for discounted rooms at the Westin for $119 including parking - they are already sold out! Website says they are negotiating for more.

Of the current speakers, the only one I recognize is Fenner- should I know of the others?

Hey Brian look under the announcements forum - there is a thread labled Macna - on page 2 Steve gives a link to email someone about rooms. I got mine last night. So there are some available and they are trying to get more. Right now they have only king rooms but should be releasing double bed rooms soon - And you can switch which kind you have after you get your reservation, if needed.

So who is going to go???

the room for fri and sat night came to like $275 with fees and taxes. Have you gotten one yet? Are you gonna go as a vendor with club-zoa?

Yea whatever!! It's not so bad when your splitting it with someone else!! Besides the Westin is an AWESOME hotel!! Are you gonna go Brandon? Anyone else???
