I live in southern California and found some macro algae that looks like it could be a good addition to my refugium.
The first two grow in balled clumps.
This one has bladed strands with out much of a center structure.

This one is fluffy and branches out.

The final species grows to a tree with one main structure and branches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am already using natural sea water for water changes with out an visible or testable negativity. Have you seen any similar algaes in reef tanks? I have a 550 lumen 5000k led light over the refugium.
Thanks in advance!

The only difference between the two is that the on on live aquaria seem to be branching off a main trunk. Mine is a cluster of blades similar to the way cheato grows.
