I have this snail that has some type of red algae and then some Long green algae that now looks like it’s sprouting small leaves. Don’t really want macro algae to start in my tank. Should I remove snails?

I remove the majority of the algae and then partially dip the snail upside down in some hydrogen peroxide, being careful not to get any in the shell opening. Worked great for me. You can also brush the peroxide on or dab it with a paper towel.

Thanks. That’s a good idea
