141ug/l of Iron, is that like a gym full of iron plates?! So chemistry was a favored subject in my school days, but I wasn't great at converting measurements into easy to understand readings.

Do you have a metal air registrar above the tank, or some other possible souce of metalic particles moving into the tank? This is certainly a unique situation.

ICP still "clean"?

Well, I smiled when I read your post KrisReef. Here’s a lead! Behold, in blue light..
The internal lattice pieces have a lever adjuster. They were pointing right towards the tank and if I adjust with the lever they point vertically to the floor to direct air. This could be what’s going on, hmm, thinking I can use a cover that’ll point elsewhere, 👍👎? I’ll see if I can post my ICP, good thread starter for ridiculous 🤔😬

Maybe I’ll cover the air register with some filter floss over the next week, then dunk it in a clean bucket and see if I can pull out some iron specs with a magnet.

Got the cover to redirect air on that air register. Going to look into a hepa filter for the furnace next. See what happens, and continue on from there.

Time for a bunch of sealed magnets all over the glass and see how much I can collect. Reeflabs should get my ICP soon. I mailed 2 test vials without registering my barcode for the samples online. 😆

That's really crazy! Are you able to cover the tank in some sort of cloth or piece of cardboard or something to see if you can figure out if it is indeed coming from an external source like the air duct?
