I went out of town yesterday AM before the light on and came back last night after the light out. This morning, when the light come on, instead of having one Purple Tip Magnifica, I have two fully formed. Sometime in the last 36 hrs my Mag started and completed the split. I did not even see it until it is done. Often, when this happened in the past, the Mag would looks poorly, partially deflated, then split. I did not see him yesterday and the split started and completed sometime in 36 hrs.

That is great.. I have never had one split but have known others that have had it happen.
Pretty rare thing as you know. Those that had it happen to them it seems they will continue too split.

I really want a magnifica but they are so hard to get healthy anymore.. Well they have always been hard to get healthy around here but more so now.

Congrats! I've had mags for years now and still waiting for the first split. Hopefully it continues for you so we can have more propagated mags in the hobby.

That is awesome! How long have you had this particular Mag in your system? Can you possibly attribute the cloning to any particular change in condition recently (like feeding, unusual stress, etc) or was it just spontaneous?

You are THE anemone guy, no doubt!! Congratulations!!
