I am making a new tank. IM 10 gallon, my plan is to put my nem in there and keep a clown, maybe a pistol shrimp goby and that’s about it!

I am doing a floating shelf style and just bent the acrylic today and siliconed it to the back of the tank. I do have some bubbles in the silicone but I pressed it really solid and sealed the sides so I’m hoping the bubbles are more visual than a structural problem.

Looking to maybe do a horseshoe scape or something like it. Not totally sure and open to any ideas!

I have the same tank and will be rescaping in soon so I am interested in how your tank turns out!

Ya I’m going to get some dry rock tomorrow to start the scape and then add in rock from my current tank on top to skip the cycle.

I’m also going to put my Nems in right away so I’m hoping the rock I’ll add with get it stable real quick. We’ll see

Added a second side. Going to leave a space in the center and maybe make a cave with some of the rock in my current tank

Hoping to get this tank wet this week!

Think I will move over my pair of spotcinctus clowns, not sure if this is too small for them but may be ok for a bit.

I will also move over one of my conchs, shrimp, snails, etc. I may try to keep my tiger shrimp but I won’t have anything for them to live under so we’ll see.

Added a bunch of live rock from my larger set up and started moving over some livestock. Things are looking good - I added some turbo 900 to be safe.

I like the dc pump that IM has stock since it has a great sine wave pulse the Nems seems very happy and the clowns have already found them and are snuggled in haha

Love the top down look. Nems are really settled in and taking up most the tank already haha

This IM 10 gallon return pump is amazing
