The Gourmet Grazer is a great feeder for your tangs, but one thing I don't like is how it looks sticking out like a sore thumb in the tank. I have to keep it high because if unattached it sinks, so I keep it near the top of the tank so I can grab it when I remove the magnet. Otherwise I'm getting wet fetching it from the bottom of the tank.

I snipped two disposable pipettes and hot glued the ends to make them airtight, then glued them into the back of the feeder. Now I can move the feeder behind the rocks at the back of the tank and when I pull off the magnet it conveniently floats up to the surface for retrieval.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
