Male or female fuzzy dwarf lionfish

Gobbles has grown already and definitely has a 7th band 
I am fairly certain Gobbles is male. The fins have definitely grown a bit longer as the seventh band near the edge is definitive now whereas before it was sort of connected to the black along the edge. I measured him recently when he was perched near the corner of the glass and he has not reached that 4 inch mark yet where it’s more definitive as to what gender he is but given the info regarding counting bands and that he has seven already..

Once there's a definitive seventh band it it a male, regardless of size, I've seen males display the seventh band smaller than 4". The point is not to be prematurely identify a female. Say you wanted to include a female with your male, you would want to wait until the female is about 4'5" before definitely identifying them as female. I've known people try and do a male/female pair at smaller sizes, then end up with 2 males.
