Mandarin dragonets

Hi guys,

Just bought 2 mandarins and was told frozen would be ok for them as that's what they were feeding in my lfs but the other fish get to it before it can sink down to them I think? Anyone got any advice?

Also if anyone's got any advice on love Copepods,how much to use per feed,how to keep them live etc that would be great.

Ya just dose the tank PODS. If you didn't see them eat frozen at the LFS, then they more than likely don't eat frozen. You will need to buy some PODs for the tank.

I hear all kinds of things about the mandarins,I guess I got lucky cus mine eats every thing I put in the tank, frozen or flacks.

yes, very lucky...number one cause of death for this fish..starvation...the primary source of food is pods...so unless you have it trained to eat prepared food you need a way to replace pods to the tank...

Ok iv decided ill dose love pods and also try and target feed nutrama ova too,just for good measure.

I buy the pods from Reefs2Go. They go on sale quite often and my mandarin loves them.
