so i had copepods all over my glass today would i be able to add a mandarin now (i have not added copepods) they must of just came on coral and multiplied like crazy

i didn't know i had any till i saw them earlier should i start dosing phyto

and should i get a large or medium mandarin they are tank bred

It should be fine especially if you have a refugium and enough rock in the DT to support a large pod population. I like to add pods every month or so just to be safe. Do you have any other fish that eat pods? If so, just keep an eye on the pod population. Dosing phyto would be good. Your coral will like it too.

The size of mandarin goby doesn’t really matter in my experience. I normally like to get them smaller though, but make sure it’s fat. Do not buy a skinny mandarin.

Already ordered haha yea my fish store really looks after there fish all very healthy no other fish eat copepods i have

Regal angel
Yellow tang
Midas blenny
Royal Gramma

i do not have a refuge yet but i do plan too add 1 soon
