Mandrin Goby quirk...

My Mandrin seems to me sleeping in the sand...is this a problem I should be concerned with or normal...he looks like he has a sand ghillie suit on. Those pics are a few minutes after I saw him...he had alot more on him at first.

Some of them even sleep in under the sand!! Don't worry! It's hiding!

Totally normal, they “borrow” themselves at night for protection.

Mine sleeps on the sand all the time. It freaked me out at first to especially since they go super dull coloured.
