Has anybody had margarita snails ?
Are they a good snail to keep? LFS has 40 snails for $20 thinking of grabbing some need to grow my CUC

They are temperate water snails at most will live like 6 months before perishing in reef temps. They will eat a lot of algae during that time but just wait for tropical water turbos or turbans to be available.

Also you dont need that many snails unless your tank is quite large.
Most numerous type should be sand dwellers like nassarius or ceriths maybe one per 3 gallons and like than like 1 per 5 gallons of dt for glass types all together, ime they die much more than that from starvation.
