Maroon string-like Algae taking over rock

Ok i will start tommorow. No lights. Or today if i can. i have been running the lights from 8 am to 8 pm but now i run it from 8 am to about 6 since last thursday.

I think i found the cause guys, i have like 10 ppm nitrates in my tank. I tested the water i have been mixing for water changes and it came by up to 40ppm nitrates. I got some 0ppm culligan ro/di water from water today. I tested it so its good. I will start using this with water changes until i get my own ro di system... I hope this cyno goes away.
