Maxima Under Straton X

Lol - typical reef2reef response - I have a par meter, I have the new reef pilot app that is extremely accurate with par readings (both are within 10% of each-other) I am simply curious as to what others may be running their lights at.

I swear if there was a way to delete my account I'd have done it already.

that part 😆

wish I could help. I dont have those lights but what you could do is maybe go on coral sellers websites that have stock images. they usually tell you what percentage everything is at when they snap the photos. it's a start. they list the lighting as well. alot of website searching but if you get no help here.... its a suggestion

Are you looking for spectrum settings and intensity? I wasn’t trying to be crass, it’s just not as simple as using someone else’s settings and go. If it were me, I would set to a “full spectrum daylight” setting for most of the day and making sure that clam was receiving at least 350+ micromoles for 8hrs or more. It’s also based on the individual clam’s requirements, so two maximas can have vastly different intensity settings to keep them healthy and growing.
