check youtube, there are some good videos on youtube.

honestly, there are soooo many options in terms of programming it is staggering. i have mine running all sorts of programs throughout the day. from both full speed to much slower speeds and random stuff at night.

I was using OGC mode and i liked it a lot. Then per suggestions now i have 1 ramping up and down at 60% and the other one in Pulse mode at the same percent and it is another history.

Try it and let me know,,,.

I have a pair of 250s in my 525xL and I have mine set up like this:

A: Alternating Gyre
Ramp up: 1 min
Constant: 10 min 50%
Ramp Down: 1 min
Constant: 10 min 20%

B: Alternating Gyre
Ramp up: 1 min
Constant: 10 min 20%
Ramp down: 1 min
Constant 10 min 50%

This way I get strong flow from both directions through out the day and it doesnt blow my sand bed all over the place from a constant stream. Ive been running it this way for a year or so and its a real nice steady pattern.

How do you have them placed? Both at the top? Or 1 top and the other mid tank?

I ended up just hooking my 2 up on my apex and setting them on an alternating schedule. I have them turn on and off each hour. 1 will run for an hour at 50% then turn off and the other side one turn on for 50% and run for an hour (only 1 ever runs at a time). This changes the flow up for me, doesn't stir sand up and have been happy with it. Running this way 2 years.

Do you mind sending me a picture of the setup? I’m having problems setting it up
