Hello Dear Reefer,
I have 90x60x50(cm) Tank including soft corals and two/three SPS corals. I am looking for a correct light settings for my light, "Maxspect Razor 420R 15000K" in order to get a good coral growth. Anyone can get a good coral growth with this light? can you recommend your settings? I am also using reefroids once a week.

These are good fixtures and produce enough light to grow coral. Lets see if any users offer help.

Stop with the reefroids, phosphates will rise!

My r420r is running as follows

1:00 B5 W0
8:00 B10 W10
10:00 B30 W20
13:00 B50 W50
19:00 B80 W50
23:00 B40 W10

Great SPS growth on montipora etc. I did ramp the white up a while back, but found I got bleaching.

Would please I suggest you consider the improvement of the homogenoues/ optical uniformity when new light.

the picture show what I mean. you see
1, the PAR/PUR vallue is much different. the middle is too strong and the size is too week.
2, there are too much dark point at the bottom of the corner.

For your 90 cm tank , I suggest 2 pcs light with arm kti, the advantages
1, make a tidy tank.
2, there are 40-50cm between light and 15 cm on each size. there will be a prefect lighing homogenoues.
3, Sunrise sunset , moon is good for your coral.

Sorry to jump in. I was just wondering what's the difference between the 10k and 15k versions and is it worth the money to change from one to the other if one is better

Colour temp in the blue end of the spectrum. Maxspect did a 16k upgrade kit, which they still list on their website I think.
