McCoskers Flasher Compatibility

Hi,

I have a reefer 250 with a fire fish, a bangai, a orchid dotty, and a twin spot hog. Everyone seems to get along. Most of the aggression I see is towards the hog actually, and it's not extensive or frequent. Everyone is active and out all the time.

I was hoping I could sneak in a male McCoskers but I understand they may not get along with the twin spot hog. Just looking for thoughts, thanks!

Flasher wrasses are generally pretty mellow fellows. I'd probably worry more about the hog becoming aggressive as he gets bigger. (Or even now, with a new labrid moving into the neighborhood...)

I agree. A bimac hog will be problematic toward the mckosker, if not now then in the not too distant future.

Sounds like I should hold off on the McCosker. I am assuming a bigger tank may help this issue? Right now I have a ~60 gallon display with the 4 fish stated above.

I think it would take a very large tank 180g+ to reduce problematic aggression.
