The lennardi are a bit of a craze right now over here. I dig the sanguenensis, that's a funky looking wrasse!

Lennardi don't make it to the States very often and are priced out of my range.

Sanguenensis doesn't make it in the hobby as of yet.

Ouch. Unless it's a really cool small to moderate size growing pred I won't go too close to $200

Managed to get a my hands on a valenciennea helsdingenii, any out of the ordinary things to consider for it? I already know it will get to a considerable size, and I will have a relatively deep sand bed. It is eating prepared quite well.

Is there any difference in genders for Canthigaster compressa?

Not that I know of offhand.

It can be hit and miss. Conspecifics are more likely to be aggressive.
In that case are there some that surely don't? I have in mind Canthigaster compressa and leoparda

What kind of chances do you think I would have of keeping a puffer of some kind that isn't a Canthigaster with a toadfish, eel and dwarf fuzzy for starters?
I have seen quite a few people with puffers and lions and no ill effects, and we have a huge mappa with an equally huge volitans at my work and they don't even take notice of each other.

I personally don't think it's a good idea. Sure, there are always exceptions, but puffers are intelligent and curious and they explore their surroundings with their teeth.

Yeah, that's where I was leaning towards. Rather not take the risk.

A question on mandarins, would a ffm trio work out? And would mixing the splendidus with the picturatus be problematic? For a 1200L tank
