I find tank raised clownfish to be so annoying. Finally after a year and a half mine host the chalices… which is weird but better than hosting the top corner of the tank 🙄
I must have gotten lucky! My tank raised found my CSB within a few months of adding the nem to the tank.

I had a pair of wild caught perc for years that hosted all kinds of stuff. Both nems and torches!

A YouTuber I watch has a pair that host his red goni, but refuse a huge Colorado sunburst he has in his tank. 🙄

Before I sold the other tank I had a few anemones and the clowns started hosting after only a couple of days. I love anemones just don't want to deal with any in this tank. Creates too much chaos for me when they move around.

I love finding new stuff on live rock (most of the time). Although this rock has been in my tank for just over 5 months, I just noticed these at the base of one of the rocks.

They appreciate the softer touch over the love stings. 🤣😅

Maricultured rock or natual is hard to beat for the pandoras box of natural wonders that flow from them over time.

I feel you! I love my CSB, but sometimes regret adding it to my Cube. It takes up so much real estate and is ruthless with anything it comes in contact with. I dont know that I would add one to another mixed reef tank. I think I would just do a dedicated nem system in the future.

I'm with you there. Anemones and corals don't play nice together. Torches are ruthless as well, but they don't move. It's the moving where I draw the line. Love them though and would have another with corals if they would only stay put.

If they were 💯 stationary, you could plan your aquascape around them. Mine has gotten so big, it can reach pretty much the entire sandbed with its tentacles...stings everything!

Same with me. The originals did eventually settle but everytime one split chaos ensued.

Here's a gif of the wife and I dealing with it. 😁

I cranked the lights up some more a couple of weeks ago and adjusted their position yesterday to get more light on the corals. The repositioning of lights (slid them back) was because most of the highest intensity (check with a par meter) was forward of my rockwork and corals. Here's short vids. The SPS have responded very well so far. Great PE and color. Keeping an eye on it though because I'm throwing A LOT of light on them.

Got to take the good with the bad, but wouldn't trade to another method for starting a tank. Worse thing so far is I found a Mantis running around the tank. Also had a couple of crabs nibbling on corals that are now in the sump.

Cool find!

And a couple of pics of my Rainbow and Aquadelight in the BC comp. BC really sent me a VERY nice frag of this one.

I'm really liking that Aquadelight and think it's going to be outstanding with size and coloring up.

Yes, me too. I think it's going to be a stunner! 👍 If I don't kill it.

Subtle? You? The only subtle thing about you is, well, oaky there isn't anything I can presently think of. And don't go expecting me to think of something because I don't want to hurt myself.
