I don't just do Reef lighting!

My wife is pretty obsessive with her hobby as well (like we all are on this forum). Today I was setting up lighting and ventilation on a new IKEA cabinet she get for plants. Here a few pictures of the cabinet along with pics of her obsession. She has a bunch of pretty rare and cool plants in her collection. That's why she never says anything to me about buying corals. She's just as bad!

Sweet! I wish you luck in the comp and with your new additions. I haven't seen a colony of the PGB either. Where I have it, it doesn't pop much yet. But I can see some nice colors trying to push through. We'll see how it looks after it really settles in. I will be out on the lookout for a colony and will share if I find one.

I wonder if it's this one. LINK - Pretty sweet if it is.

I tagged you but supposedly this is very much so what our phy-go-berry will look like!

I also dable in more than saltwater. 😁
Those are beautiful! I love that shot with the staircase and the tanks shots are outstanding. I almost did a planted tank for me and the wife, but out if off for now. We have plenty keeping us busy. Thanks for sharing!

Love that little frog. Do they live long in a tank?
I’ve been reading about dart frogs as we were thinking about putting one in our terrarium. Them little guys can live 10 - 15 years in captivity!

Ranitomeya Benidicta are tiny Peruvian dart frogs and need a specialized vivarium to thrive but can live up to 20 years with proper care. 😁 They are amazing little pets. My favorite were always the vietnamese mossy frogs though. I love the sounds they make at night. 😂

That is incredible! I grew up when frogs were plentiful. As kids, we caught them at all stages and tried (unsuccessfully) to raise them. But I live now in an area that includes wetlands and I cannot remember the last time I saw a big ole bull frog. The population of frogs has greatly diminished worldwide and while unnoticed by many, there are also many scientists who believe it to be quite alarming.

Thank you! 😁 Planted tanks are fun and can be super low maintenance, much like reefing stability and consistency are key. I also have a thing for Amazonian species and fish from very acidic water so I took more interest in fungal nitrification than bacterial for my systems which was different and made freshwater interesting for its own reasons. Always happy to share 😄 probably more than needed! I have over 3k posts and videos on various projects and diy for freshwater/garden/vivarium stuff on IG.

We were also looking at the Mossy. My wife fell in love with its unique look.

I remember more frogs when there were less people. Where I live I was once unable to see another home or structure in the distance. Tons of wildlife was always around. Now you cant even see the sky.

Printed this today. Going to swap it on my next regent change.

IMG_8805.jpeg
lol - I printed 2 of them, one for the Trident and one for Trident NP (in red & white though). They are much smaller and really access to those tiny tubes since they do get clogged or loose.
