This rainbow has been a nice performer.

I love progression pics and also serves as a journal here. So here's another one.

I got this Disney in December last year. In February I decided to cut the plug it was on and broke it into 4 pieces. (DUH!). One main piece and three tiny ones. I glued the main to the rock and the three pieces to a plug.

After about 3 1/2 months, here is where all the pieces are today.

And now a new photo dump since I took a bunch of pictures today with the new porthole. Besides, I like each page of this thread to have a bunch of pictures.

My SPS are so happy in the tank that I can't get enough of it.

I thought these two pictures were cool. Same coral same spot with picture tanken a few seconds apart. Depending on how the light is shimmering on the coral, the color highlights change.

My SPS are so happy in the tank that I can't get enough of it.

That EM 100 Macro has a very pleasing depth of field. I don't know what they look like out of camera but your colors look right on. Once again, beautiful shots, and corals.

Getting a little tired of all the "Hey, look over here at all my awesome corals with fantastic growth and the sweet pics I can take and you can't. Oh, and did I happen to mention that I run two skimmers? How many do you run again?"

That EM 100 Macro has a very pleasing depth of field. I don't know what they look like out of camera but your colors look right on. Once again, beautiful shots, and corals.

Thanks man. I use an orange filter so it's already cutting a lot of the blues. In processing (and depending how blue the light it) I only adjust the temp a bit and play mostly with the tint. I always try to get the colors to match what I see the best I can. When's the new cam and/ or lens happening?

Some really good deals @ https://www.keh.com/ too. And it's near home. Very dangerous!

I may actually have to go get a job again if I want to keep spending money on stuff.

I've bought a lot of stuff from B&H over the years, great company, but right now MPB has more of what I'm looking for. I will probably stay with Canon because I have a couple of mediocre, but better then nothing, lens already and I think that in the digital space their color profiles are the closest to the old Fujifilm colors.

You talk like you know a heck of lot more about photography than i do. I have the feeling that my assumption is not much of an assumption.
