If you put two of the same Acro frags against each other, will they merge into one colony?

Either:

1. They will stop when they meet each other

2. One will grow over the other and kill it

3. They can become grafted if the same species

They are listed in the most likely to least likely

Yes, if they are from the same mother, they will join and become 1. Have done it, it will.

Two of the same acro frags will grow in as one colony. They are the same species they will recognize each other they will grow as one.

In fact, this is the way they get acros to grow quicker.

Like everyone said no problem. When I have a few nubs I put them on a plug and they grow into a colony faster than just the one. Glue them next to each other and it works well.
Here is one example.
