What size area do these cover?

They cover a 4×4 area for plants.
I will set it up in the garage when it arrives and take some pics.
It should focus very well in the 36×36 area of my new system.
Note in the pic it looks like the 8" ducts are not removable. I talk to them and the new ones come with the louverd plates. The pic is old.

I will do that and take pics of both the RB&OG spread.
I will do some open air par readings also for comparison.

Just got here. I ordered a socket extended which you need for a 250 or 400.
Very impressed with the build.
This is built better than any fixture I have seen in a long time.
It's 22×22×12 the socket is 6"
RB for comparison.

Same socket for both. You just need an extender. I have a 20lb scale.
I will weigh it when I get home.
I guess 20lbs. The glass is heavy and it's built well.

Not sure yet. I will do a test in the garage at different levels and use my par meter to get an idea of what the OG spread looks like.
I plan to start at 14" and work it from there.
I am going to do the same with the RB fixture.
Should be fun.

Cool! I need to come up with a way to add 2 Meridian 14K edge bars to my new builds fixture
I have the RB but not impressed with the reflector. I am spoiled from my past MH fixtures.
So I am working on a way to add two edges to this 21×21 fixture which was $100 less than the RB single.
The flange is replaced with the Louvered panels. It should look good over my 36×36 system.

Awesome fixture, but keep in mind that not all MH bulbs are designed to operate in the vertical "Base Up" position.

Example - The Radium 20K can only be operated +-55 deg from horizontal per the datasheet and package label.
