So I am stuck in a pickle….

I know I need some MH 250w lighting but I can decide on what to buy, I have looked at the Icecap, the Blue wave 7 Dual HQI, Vertex HQI and Coralvue ballasts. The issue here is money do I need an Icecap ballast or will the others work, it really comes down to 112.00. I think I want to use these Reflectors and Phoenix DE 14000K bulbs. Any advice to a NEWB would be greatly appreciated.

This is the price break down as I see it:
Icecap ballast 129.99 each x2 260.00
Vertex Ballast 94.99 each x2 190.00
Blue wave 7 dual 250w HQI ballast 172.25
Coralvue Ballast 114.95 each x2 230.00

Phoenix DE 14000K bulbs 49.95 each x2 =100.00

So it will break down as follows:
Icecap with Reflectors = 440.00
Coralvue with Reflectors = 410.00
Vertex with Reflectors = 370.00
Blue wave 7 dual 250w HQI with Reflectors = 352.00

Go with the BW7. $165 for a dual 250W.

I have the BW I like it it does not get hot at all it drives a bulb hard
