I have a few questions, currently in the process of migrating a 39 gallon to a 70 gallon. Im just looking for some opinions or insight.
1. GFO, Carbon, and BIO, Im going to run Gfo and carbon for sure but I was also thinking about running BIO. My end goal is to have a low nutrient system and supplementing in nutrient via some sort of additive.
2. Kinda stems from question 1, I have hob fuge on the old tank and the new tank has a spot for a fuge in the sump. Is this necessary if im going low nutrient, will chaeto even grow, what about pods.
3. Im moving rock over in groups and keeping it in the sump of the new tank to help with the bacteria cycle and also to try to kill off the hair algae by keeping it dark. Im starting to get down to rocks that contain Zoas, Mushrooms, and Anemones. Will any of these be greatly affected by the blackout period. Or should I just put the Anemones with the hair algae in the main display and hope the new GFO reactor will kill it off.
