I feel like I rarely see Hooded Wrasse anymore. Such a pretty fish though. I came in to recommend Flame Wrasse though, especially with the current state of collection in Hawaii.

What do you mean about Hawaii?

I've seen some particularly nice C. aurantidorsalis coming in lately that I've been tempted by if my budget wasn't as tight right now.
I second the pintail and labouts as well as excellent options.
Yeah, the aurantidorsalis have been coming in real nice, to the point I picked one up a couple weeks ago and he is sitting in qt. Very surprising how little they cost compared to how colorful they are.

If I didn’t already have a brunneus, I’d get an isosceles for sure.

Didn't realize the C. aurantidorsalis stays relatively small, hmm.. had intended to get a yellowfin flasher to round out the 60g (different tank), may go with that though. Only a social wrasse C. rubeus in that tank with a Blue Flasher P. cyaneus eventually (in QT). Reading @evolved 's complexes chart though, it's listed as D for a larger tank. Is that just due to a potential for bossy behaviour?

Still gets to 4", so the smallest of that complex but still bigger than the lubbocki complex.

You'll also see that it's designated with the "-" showing it's less aggressive than average of the complex. The D is universal to the complex for simplicity; I didn't want to muck up exceptions all over it.

Thanks! I never even noticed the minus on the end of that guy. Think it would be a good fit, the tank is 4' long.

I am super envious of what you guys have access to, especially price wise.
