Thank youYour tank is what I hope mine looks like some day! Do you supplement with anything?
No I don't use supliments.
Just my 27 fish and my DIY blender mush .
I feed that 4-5 times a day.

Thank youNice video. I like to see how other reefers set up their tanks.
Thank you ;)Beautiful looking tank
It's official Mike. I'm obsessed with your tank! I'm new to corals. What is the name of the tall, feathery looking ones?MikeC's SOFTY TANK
I must say I couldn’t be happier with my decision to convert to softies.
After having my sps dominant tank for 2 years and loosing it to flatworms :( needles to say I was pretty bummed out.
I made up my mind to start over with a upgrade(because that was the excuse I had lol ) and also a Qt tank.
That was all set up and chugging along with some wonderful help from my fellow reefers that provided me with great frags to get me back on my feet(Thank you all you know who you are;).
Unfortunately one night RTN set in:(
All the while I still had some LPS and zoos that made the transfer and everyone that saw the tank being re-created always mentioned what wonderful movement my gonipora had and didn’t seem to notice the sps with the new growth lol.
Now I understand that the novices would say that but the truth was I enjoyed the movement so much better myself and I think I was caught up in the Social Stigma that soft corals are for beginners, easy and not taken seriously amongst the “real reefers”
Now don’t get me wrong i love and respect a well maintained sps tank but Im also not embarrassed to say Im proud of my non stresful Softy tank ;)
Hope you enjoy the photos AND MY WORK IN PROGRESS.
I would also love to hear from other soft coral lovers.

Good luck , take your time and don't stress ;)Thanks Mike. Wish me luck please.
Hey Mike. I have an idea! How about in your spare time identify each coral and show where it is placed in your tank. That way us newbies can know where to place these gorgeous corals.MikeC's SOFTY TANK

Sorry man that's not going to happen lolHey Mike. I have an idea! How about in your spare time identify each coral and show where it is placed in your tank. That way us newbies can know where to place these gorgeous corals.
Yup thought so. Can't blame for me for trying.Sorry man that's not going to happen lol
I have finger leathers, toadstools, sinularia ,nepithelia,Xenia ,zoos, mushrooms and a few others as far as Scientific names that is too much stress for me and seemingly only to try and impress others? That's just not me.
Placement is going to be different in each tank depending on ones lighting, flow and aquascape .
Each tank is different and IMOP very difficult to recreate a exact replica and a better rout is to let your own creativity flow ;)
I will get some up soon Rev I just got back today from a 7 day vacation and my tank was on auto pilot. I have to say everything looks good but I gotta clean the glass and use my turkey baster a bit and wet skim .Update photos!!!!!!
I don't test for phosphates.Okay need your help. What #'s does your tank run? I can't get Zoas to open let alone flourish. Kind of puts a damper on having a Zoa garden. Someone said they like a slightly dirtier tank. Any suggestions?
Do you test for nitrates?I don't test for phosphates.
I monitor them by the cleanliness of my glass, if I get a slight film within three days I'm good to go anything less and I feed my 27 fish more.
I broadcast feed four or five times a day small amounts of my DIY blender mush.
This is what works for me and my tank not sure if it's the best for everyone's set up.
