Hello Guys,

Some years ago, I was starting the reefing with a lot of passion, which is still there today and bigger ! My main tank was a 120x80x55 which was published on the REEF2REEF Facebook page, some of you may already see it:

some months ago, I got a copper problem because of my calcium reactor pump... I've tried during some months to get it back on track, but there was still some problems left. So I've decided to restart it with a better vision thanks to my experience during those past years !

The tank is about to get back to life this week and I wanna share with you the evolution and equipment features during those next months !

So here it is:

Tank size: 120x80x55cm / 47x31x21"
Sympa size: 108x54x40 / 42x12x16"
RO/DI tank: 80L / 21g

Skimmer: Nyos Quantum 220
Return pump: Sicce Syncra SDC 9.0
Flow pump: 2x Ecotech Vortech MP40W QD
Reactor: Deltec FR509 (Carbon)
Zeolite reactor: Fauna Marin Zeomatic 2.2
Calcium Reactor: Dastaco T2
Heater/Cooling: Teco TK1000
Lighting: DIY 14x54w T5 (4 are E5 Blue Pop!)
Control: APEX 2016 + WXM Module + ATK + Energy Bar 6
Other: Ecotech Battery Back-up

Work goes well, first element to hide the sump are placed. Electrical power is there too !

I will try to post some pictures tonight, the tank is, by now, up and running since 2-3 weeks and the first snails and hermit crabs armies are already cleaning everythings :)

The falcon look fantastic! I'm amazed you could keep it balanced like that!

The balance is only due to one branche below the falcon. I've found a better picture but still bad quality where you can see the branche below ;-)

The balance is only due to one branche below the falcon. I've found a better picture but still bad quality where you can see the branche below ;-)

Ah, I see it now! I thought that was a reflection from an above branch. Well done!

Ah, I see it now! I thought that was a reflection from an above branch. Well done!

The positive point with this work is that we won't see the whole branche when the sand will be in the tank :p

Some new pics since I've put the sand. It's change everythings... ;Snaphappy If everythings is fine at the end of this week, I will put some more acroporas with the two SPS test corals (Seriatopora and montipora) ! :rolleyes:

Love the scape ! I'm thinking I will go with the floating rock scape also . Your tank looks good ! Can't wait to see it grow out.
